Mandate

• To erect, maintain and operate transmitting and receiving Station.
• To install and operate Radio and Television distribution services.
• To provide for and receive from other persons, matters to be broadcast.
• To organize, provide and subsidize educational activities and public entertainment for the Purpose of broadcast.
• To collect “News and information in any part of the world and in any manner that may be thought fit and to establish and subscribe to News Agencies.
• To publish printed matter that may be conducive to the performance of any of the functions of the Corporation.
• To make arrangements for bringing the Programmes (including advertisements), broadcast by Radio and Television Service under constant and effective review, and in particular for ascertaining the State of public opinion concerning the Programmes
• To carry out such other activities as are necessary or expedient for the full discharge of all or any of the functions conferred on it under or in pursuant to the law establishing the Station.
